In Fall 2017, four Black Queer + Trans community leaders got together to create a program to better support the needs of Black LGBTTQ+ youth in the City of Toronto and the GTA by developing a culturally anchored program to address service gaps for youth.
Our mission is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for Black Queer youth, Black Trans youth, and those questioning their identity. By establishing space this allows youth to connect, reflect on their life experiences within our communities, and improve their self-esteem; by equipping youth with the tools, confidence, and leadership opportunities to achieve their life goals while having their personal needs met.
